Moonton Indonesia Releases the Indonesian MLBB National Team to Sea Games 32

Yesterday May 9 2023, the Indonesian national team Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) departed for Cambodia to compete in the SEA Games 32. In this championship, Indonesia sent two MLBB divisions, men and women. The women’s category will compete first on May 10-12, followed by the men’s competition on May 12-14.

The head coach of the MLBB Indonesia national team, Bjorn Ong, said it was not about which team players played. Rather, this is an Indonesian unit that will fight in SEA Games 32. As is known, before becoming a national team, professional players are first selected and trained by the national team body to train physically, mentally, chemistry and performance.

“We as representatives of Indonesia will strive hard and provide the best for Indonesia. We hope for the fullest possible support from all Indonesian people so that our road will be launched later, “said the coach who is familiarly called Zeys at Soekarno Hatta international airport.

The tournament format is divided into Group Stage and Playoffs. Each country will be divided into two different groups. The first phase is the preliminary round, all participants are divided into two groups to undergo round robin and Best of 1 (BO1) format matches. Furthermore, the top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs which apply the system single elimination.

In the women’s category, Indonesia is in Group A with Cambodia and the Philippines. Meanwhile, Group B consists of Malaysia, Laos and Vietnam. For the men’s MLBB category, Group A consists of the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Timor Leste. While Group B consists of Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia.

Meanwhile, for Azwin Nugraha, Public Relations & Communications Manager of Moonton Indonesia, the success of the national team is the success of all Indonesians, as well as the national team’s difficulties which must also be borne together, especially MLBB Esports fans in the country.
