IGL Valorant RRQ fl1pzjder: This Is What We Need to Strengthen Again at VCT LCQ!
The Valorant Rex Regum Qeon team has provided fierce competition in the VCT 2023 Pacific League. But unfortunately the only team from Indonesia could not qualify for the playoffs.
Even though at the start of the season they seemed to many to be less obligated to be in the VCT 2023 Pacific, but in the second half of the season they showed they are one of the best teams in Asia right now.
They couldn’t enter the playoffs because they lost their head-to-head record to the team from South Korea, Gen.G. Gen.G itself is RRQ’s first opponent in VCT 2023 and RRQ must admit Gen.G’s superiority in their first match.

During the scrum interview after fighting Paper Rex, IGL RRQ fl1pzjder gave his opinion on what needs to be improved so that his team can go to the next level.
RRQ fl1pzjder: We Need to Be More Mentally Prepared!
At the start of the season there were still many new RRQ players who had never played in an offline tournament. And maybe this is why RRQ can’t be optimal at the start of the 2023 VCT season.
But the more they play, the more comfortable these players are and are ready to play offline. Apart from that, according to fl1pzjder, one thing that the team needs to strengthen again is their mentality.
“We are used to playing on stage and now I think we have to be more prepared mentally as a team.” said the player named Saibani Rahmad.
Fl1pzjder was also asked by SPIN Esports how good he thinks his performance this season as IGL is.
“Individually I don’t think I did well, maybe two or three matches. I know myself that I can play better. I think in LCQ I will play better,” explain fl1pzjder.
Playing as IGL is not an easy thing, because you have to focus on thinking about strategy and you also have to focus on shooting enemies. But in several matches this season, fl1pzjder played very well and was the key for them to win those games.
Playing as a support, fl1pzjder’s stats are pretty good with an ACS of around 190 and one of the agents he’s really good at is Breach.

This definitely isn’t the end of the Valorant RRQ team’s struggles. They will still play in the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) so they can play in the Champions 2023 later.
This team will prepare themselves for the LCQ later just like the other 6 VCT teams who did not enter either.

Nobody expected us to come this far but we proved everyone wrong, I am very proud of my team and thank you so much for the support, please keep supporting us and hopefully we can win the LCQ.” said fl1pzjder.
VCT Champions 2023 will take place in August 2023 on the 6th. So the LCQ for Asia Pacific will take place approximately 1 month earlier, namely in July 2023.
