After DRX, PRX f0rsakeN & mindfreak Target These Teams At The Tokyo Masters! Want Revenge!
The VCT 2023 Pacific League is over, 3 teams for the Tokyo Masters have been decided. The Tokyo Masters is the second international tournament for Valorant in 2023 ahead of their world championship, Champions 2023.
Paper Rex, DRX and T1 from Asia Pacific and 9 other world’s best teams will play in Tokyo later to fight for this prestigious title.
After defeating DRX, Paper Rex became the Asia Pacific champion for the first time and immediately entered the playoffs at the Masters.
In the scrum interview after winning, SPIN Esports asked PRX stars, f0rsakeN and mindfreak who their toughest opponents were in VCT 2023 Pacific and also who they would like to face in Tokyo later.

DRX Still the Toughest Opponent for Paper Rex
After several years in Valorant, Paper Rex finally beat DRX. Not only once but twice, PRX defeated the king of Asia. First 2-0 in the upper finals before pulling off a reverse sweep in the Grand Finals.
During the interview, mindfreak said “At the start of the season everyone doubted us luckily we won the league and it’s no coincidence we can win again Against DRX.”
F0rsakeN told the media who was their toughest opponent this year, and he still feels it will be DRX.
“The one that has been fought the most is still the DRX team. The problem is they are really the number 1 team in Korea and in my opinion they are very strong from a tactical point of view. The players are also really scary, especially Mako. He has sharp aim and really good gameplay.” said the player with the name Jason Susanto.
Mindfreak also agrees with forsakeN’s response that DRX is still the toughest opponent. “If the Pacific team is still DRX anyway,” said the player with the name Aaron Leonhart.

Seeing that PRX had to play 5 games to become the VCT Pacific champion is proof that DRX is a very scary team.
PRX f0rsakeN: Wants Revenge Against NAVI at the Tokyo Masters 2023
The Tokyo Masters 2023 will be a very hype event because 12 teams from all over the world will come. From the American VCT league there are Loud, NRG and Evil Geniuses, from the Emea league there are Team Liquid, FNATIC, FUT and NAVI and 2 teams from China, ASE and EDward Gaming.

After having to settle for being runner up at the Copenhagen Masters in 2022 yesterday, it seems like f0rsakeN wants revenge with NAVI.
“In Tokyo, I wanted to meet NAVI, I think because at that time he defeated Paper Rex in Copenhagen and wanted a revenge match,” he said.
In contrast to Jason, mindfreak even more wants to fight against the best teams in the world right now. It seems he wants to try to see how far or close they are to teams like FNATIC, NRG and Loud.
