ONIC Esports Clarification Not Participating in the 2023 IESF National Selection

ONIC Esports is one of the teams selected to take part in the 2023 IESF National Selection. However, through an announcement on Instagram @garudaku.esi, it turned out that they refused to participate because there were other activities which took place at the same time as the National Selection.

Of course that wasn’t enough to answer netizens’ curiosity and finally a clarification was made by the ONIC Esports team directly on his Instagram.

ONIC Esports Clarification

It turned out that the decision was made after internal discussions with several considerations, namely the condition of the players after the tournament, and also the lack of preparation time.

ONIC Esports feels that it will not be optimal if he continues to insist on participating in the 2023 IESF National Selection. Therefore, along with an apology, ONIC Esports has also decided to withdraw from the 2023 IESF National Selection.

We must support all decisions, because of course only the team knows the internal condition of its players.

ONIC was indeed the busiest team in the first half after they won the MPL ID Season 11 they immediately went to MSC 2023, not to mention MPL ID Season 12 which will soon start, of course they have to choose their focus so they can get the most out of it.

Not to mention that later they will also take part in ESL SPS Mobile Legends Season 3, where the final will be held offline at Istora Senayan.
