Ultimate Deadlock Too OP? Apparently Not & This Agent Is The Counter In VALORANT!

After many fans and players saw Deadlock’s ultimate skill, many immediately said that his skill was too OP.

Deadlock’s ultimate skill is named Annihilation, where if hit, the enemy will be bandaged and will die when advancing to the end of his skill path.

Because players who are hit by this ultimate can’t do anything, they have to rely on their teammates to shoot this dressing and get out of the skill.

This makes players say that in a 1vs1 moment, it seems there is no hope against Deadlock.

But like the ultimate it’s not that difficult to counter and also to dodge. If we look at the following video, it doesn’t seem too difficult to dodge this Deadlock ultimate.

You could say it’s similar to dodge the ultimate from Sova. From several gameplays from streamers, it seems like it’s not difficult to dodge the ultimate radius.

The difference with Sova’s ultimate is maybe the Annihilation radius is smaller than maybe you need a faster reaction to avoid it.

Besides that, like using the ultimate Deadlock, you can’t be careless either. From being caught to advancing to the ultimate Deadlock ending, it takes 7 seconds.

So you could say this ultimate only works for 7 seconds. And if within these 7 seconds the caught player does not complete his way to the end of the skill, that player will be released.

So, using the Ultimate Deadlock skill, you have to take into account the time and the way.

Even though Deadlock is currently looking very OP, there are several agents who might be able to counter the newest Valorant agent.

Players can use a clone from Yoru, Fakeout to counter this ultimate skill. Indeed this Yoru clone is considered a ‘player character’ in the game and can be captured by the ultimate Deadlock.
