The CS:GO National Team Passes the Asia Pacific Continental Qualification Towards the IESF 15th World Esports Championships
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) national team successfully advanced to the IESF 15th World Esports Championships after winning second place in Group B standings in the Asia Pacific continental qualifier.

The national team was able to eliminate Pakistan (score 16-11), Australia (score 16-7), and Palestine (score 16-8) through a series of slick games that left their opponents unmoved. Meanwhile, the Indonesian squad only lost once in a fierce match against the strong Mongolian team (score 19-22) who managed to achieve a perfect victory in the group stage.
Apart from Indonesia, five other countries that also qualified for the IESF 15th World Esports Championships are Mongolia, Palestine, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia. The Head of the IESF 15th World Esports Championships National Team, Eddy Lim expressed his pride for the CS:GO National Team.
“Congratulations to all the teams who have fought from the open qualifier stage to be able to continue to the IESF 15th World Esports Championships! However, your journey has just begun. Maximize all preparations at the national training camp (Pelatnas) and maintain a winning mentality as well as the spirit of defending the country until the IESF 15th World Esports Championships later.”
The IESF 15th World Esports Championships National Team Coach Richard Permana underlined that the National Team had proven its quality by achieving one of the highest finishes in terms of the win-loss ratio and the difference in kills.
“This has further strengthened our optimism for Indonesia’s chance at the IESF 15th World Esports Championships. Of course, we will not be complacent and will continue to improve Indonesia’s performance to be able to compete with the best teams from around the world.”
CS:GO IESF World Esports Championships National Team athlete Justin Wilhem expressed his appreciation for the support and participation of the Indonesian Esports General Manager (PB ESI) and the National Team Agency for the smooth running of all preparations up to the match.
“We even got more support than we expected. This certainly has a very positive impact on the team’s performance, and we are even more determined to face the upcoming IESF 15th World Esports Championships.”
After this final result, it is certain that Indonesia will take part in the games CS:GO, Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB), DOTA 2, eFootball, and Tekken 7 at the IESF 15th World Esports Championships held in Iasi, Romania.
