Recently, there has been a lot of information circulating about the massive layoffs carried out by EVOS Esports.
This was first mentioned by one of the Instagram accounts, @stevensonreal83, where he revealed that the team with the white tiger logo had terminated the employment of up to 20 employees.
Suddenly, this was directly linked to the failure of EVOS Legends, which failed to secure a slot for the MPL ID Season 10 playoffs last weekend.

EVOS Esports layoffs are justified by former employees
After being widely circulated and becoming an open secret, one of the former EVOS Legends employees, Karina Boenardi or who is often called Karboen, spoke up.

SPIN Esports get official confirmation via permission Karina Boenardi said that it was true that layoffs had occurred within EVOS Esports.
“Everything that is said is true. More than 20 employees have been laid off, but whether or not the EVOS management is bad or not, it’s back to the point of view of each employee,” Karina said through her Instagram Story.
In addition, he also clarified that the management of EVOS has worked very well by giving proper responsibilities.
“According to me, the EVOS staff is actually very responsible for this layoff, the salary is liquid. HRD is very helpful and others, “ he added.
No Relationship With EVOS Failure in MPL ID
The termination of employment by EVOS Esports certainly has nothing to do with the failure of EVOS Legends to secure the MPL ID Season 10 playoff slot.
This was also confirmed by Karboen through his upload of another story.
“But to be honest, in my opinion, contacting EVOS staff layoffs and EVOS not entering the playoffs is not very connected. I don’t think it’s an outlet for anger,” explained Karboen.
He also added that EVOS Esports is currently experiencing financial problems, so the team must make a tough decision.
“But what is clear is that when we were laid off, we were only told that EVOS was having financial problems, so we had to let go of some employees,” he said.
So, that’s the full explanation from Karboen as a former EVOS Esports employee regarding the layoff issue that occurred within the team.
