PBESI Holds 2022 Student National Esports League, Get Scholarships!

The Executive Board of Esports Indonesia (PB ESI) announced the holding of the 2022 Student National Esports League for SMA/SMK/MA equivalent students throughout Indonesia.

The competition, which will be run by PB ESI’s official esports academy, Garudaku Academy, will be held on 28 October–22 November 2022 and will win a total prize of 200 million rupiah and educational scholarships worth 3 billion rupiah.

This event targets 1000 schools or 15,000 teams which is equivalent to 75,000 players, who come from all high schools in the country.

With the mandate to carry out a nursery program for future esports athletes, the 2022 National Student Esports League will be a program that will be held regularly.

“Academics or the world of education are one of the esports ecosystems that have a critical role in helping prepare future athletes who are good at competing, but also intelligent and have strong characters. This competition can be a form of cooperation in preparing prospective athletes who do not only excel in the field of esports, but also in the academic field through the achievement pathway scholarships that we have prepared. We want Indonesian esports athletes to have the same good academic and non-academic achievements,” he said.

Dr. Raden Isnanta, M.Pd as Deputy 3 Fields of Sport Cultivation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports expressed his appreciation and support to PB ESI and Garudaku Academy in the socialization of Law No. 11 of 2022 concerning Sports, an important step in providing information to the public about this new Sports Law.

The Sports Law also specifically contains encouragement for the development of electronic-based sports, as developed by PB ESI. 2022 Student Esports League Registration

Registration for all match numbers opened on 10 October 2022. For Free Fire game match numbers, registration will close on October 28, 2022 at

23.59 WIB. Meanwhile, registration for MLBB game numbers will close on November 1, 2022 at 23.59 WIB.

The provincial level qualifications for Free Fire will be held to coincide with Youth Pledge Day, which is 28-30 October 2022 and for MLBB it will be held on 4-6 November 2022. Pre-Final will be held on 12-13 November 2022 and the Grand Final will be held on 17-22 November 2022.

2022 Student Esports League match schedule

MLBB will run qualifications in 34 provinces to get TOP 6 which will later be played against TOP 2 from the Garudaku Academy Extracurricular League.

Free Fire will divide 34 provinces into 3 groups. Group A consists of 12 provinces, Group B consists of 11 provinces, and Group C consists of 11 groups.

The top 4 from the three groups will compete in the Grand Final round. The Grand Final will be held offline and held in schools that made it into the Grand Final round.
