EA and Respawn Entertainment are pleased to announce that Apex Legends Mobile’s Champions event is now available on mobile devices.
In addition to the arrival of Legend Ash, the Champions event also includes a new ranked split, a new event, a new Battle Pass, and an update to the game’s core system.
The first mobile version exclusive legend, Fade, also gets a new weapon, exclusive to the mobile version.

Many New Updates in Apex Legends Mobile
The Champions Event of Apex Legends Mobile contains a number of new updates for this game, including:
- Legend Ash has arrived with a new set of ultimate abilities, including passive abilities”Marked For Death” which can reveal the location of the box of death and living enemies; tactical ability”Arc Snare” to tether and deal damage to the enemy; and his ultimate ability”Phase Breach” to teleport to the targeted location.
- The first melee weapon that can be upgraded on the mobile version is for Fade, that is Constellation (Constellations), which can be customized with visual effects, textures, and more.
- Second Shot Blitz (Second Shot Onslaught): A new limited Battle Royale mode that will activate during the current season. When Second Shot Blitz is active, all players will have the opportunity to respawn automatically.
- Halloween Event: Our spooky October Halloween is coming! Watch out for added horrors in the Kings Canyon and World’s Edge maps as well as super cool cosmetic rewards for your favorite Legend and weapons!
- Faction Missions (Faction Mission): Show your loyalty to one of the three major factions vying for power in Apex Games. Completing missions on behalf of these factions will give you seasonal currency to exchange for the seasonal shop!
- The Champions Battle Pass comes with some cool cosmetics! Unlock this battle wrench to show your enemies your fighting spirit!
- World’s Edge and Kings Canyon will actively rotate for Normal and Ranked Battle Royale, as well as the introduction of the Colosseum where players can start duels, which sends a message to all lobby residents that they accept all challengers. The more players you can beat in the Colosseum, the better stuff you get! Additionally, TDM and Gun Game will have Thermal Station, Artillery, and Pythas Block 0 map rotations.
