The two players RRQ released before being given the chance to prove themselves in the upcoming off season were Nexi and KellyS. The announcement of the farewell of these two players was uploaded on the official Team RRQ website on October 27, 2022.

“With this announcement, we would like to inform you that we are ending our partnership with two players from the VALORANT division, namely Nexi and KellyS. this is a tough decision because Nexi and KellyS have become a big family of RRQ.” Write the account @teamrrq.

According to the information provided in the Team RRQ account, it was also explained that this decision was taken based on the results of the training carried out in the last few weeks.

“Based on the results of the training carried out in the last few weeks, this is a decision that must be made by the team in order to focus more on preparation before,” he continued.

KellyS himself is the second player who has defended RRQ since January 2022, while Nexi has joined RRQ since March 2022.

Both of them brought RRQ PH to be the top 3 in VCT 2022 Stage 2 Philippines and won the Predator League 2022 – Philippines.

With the release of these two players, RRQ will be strengthened by only six players in the upcoming 2023 VPL, namely TehBotol, Emman, 2GE, Ejay, Fl1pzjder, and Lmemore.
