Vietnam AoV Premier League (APL) 2022 Group Stage Draw Results: There are 3 Indonesian Teams
Arena of Valor (AOV) will celebrate the return of offline international tournaments with its official slogan “We have no limits”.
For the first time in 3 years, challengers from around the world were finally able to gather in person to be part of the thrilling action in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
A total of 12 teams that will advance to the Group Stage Arena of Valor Premier League (APL) 2022: Vietnam have been previously announced, including 3 teams from Indonesia will fight against strong opponents to secure tickets to the next tournament phase.
For those of you who are curious which group the three teams are in, here are the results of the 2022 Vietnam AoV Premier League (APL) Group Stage draw!

Group Stage APL 2022 Vietnam
The Group Stage draw will divide the top 3 teams from 4 pro leagues – namely Arena of Glory (AOG), AOV Star League (ASL), Garena Challenger Series (GCS) and ROV Pro League (RPL) – randomly into 4 different groups.
Challengers can look forward to gripping action in the Group Stages as AOV pro players from different leagues battle it out head-to-head, including champions from previous AOV esports seasons. Here are the Group divisions in APL 2022: Vietnam:
- Group A: Bikertopia Esports, KFC x Talon, Box Gaming
- Group B: Saigon Phantom, ARCHANGEL, MAD Tea
- Group C: Dewa United Esports, V Gaming, Buriram United Esports
- Group D: Bacon Time, Flash Wolves, DG Esports
The best teams from each AoV league from around the world will compete from Wednesday (16/11/2022) to Monday (11/21/2022).
Dewa United as the representative of Indonesia with the title AOV Star League Winter 2022 will face V Gaming on November 16 and 19 2022. Meanwhile, Dewa United’s match against Buriram United Esports will be presented on November 18 and 21 2022.
Meanwhile, Archangel will compete in Group B and face Saigon Phantom on 17 and 20 November 2022 and against MAD Team on 18 and 21 November 2022.
On the other hand, the last representative from Indonesia, DG Esports, will join Group D and compete with the Bacon Time team on November 16 and 19 2022 and against Flash Wolves on November 18 and 21 2022.
AoV Premier League 2022 format
In accordance with global ban pick rules that promote diverse and strategic gameplay, heroes used in the previous game cannot be used by the same team for subsequent games of the same match.
This rule will be applied to all matches in the Best-of-5 (BO5) and Best-of-7 (BO7) formats. The only exception to this tournament is the 7th game played in BO7 format, where the global pick ban rule will be replaced with the regular tournament ban pick rule.
