Success in the 2022 President’s Cup, Lokapala is Ready to be Released in the Southeast Asian Region
Lokapala, the first online MOBA game from Indonesia and Southeast Asia published for the Indonesian region by UPoint Game, PT Melon Indonesia, is back as one of the local games being contested in the 2022 Presidential Cup which will be held from 9-13 November 2022.
The creative industry, one of the sectors of which is the gaming industry, has proven to be resilient, even during times of crisis, it has been able to skyrocket by more than 30% in 2020.
With a compound growth acceleration (CAGR) of 9% per year, Indonesia has a great opportunity to lead the gaming and esports industry in the Southeast Asian Region, considering that the majority of its players play esports games.

Lokapala Plans to Release in Southeast Asia Region
To support this, Anantarupa Studios plans to release Lokapala in the Southeast Asia region, and the Close Beta stage is expected to start at the end of December 2022.
Not only that, Lokapala will also present new modes and features, including the Battle Pass and inter-regional matchmaking, which will enable Ksatriyas to compete with other Ksatriyas located in different countries. Of course, this will support Lokapala to compete in the global esports ecosystem.
At the 2022 Esports President’s Cup, Anantarupa Studios also launched the Lokapala Codex for a limited audience.
The Lokapala Codex contains a summary of research from various manuscripts, inscriptions and artifacts as evidence of the leadership of the Archipelago from the 6th century, to be precise in the Sriwijaya to Majapahit era, and is projected on Indonesia’s leadership in this year’s G20 Presidency.
Have Lokapala Cakravartin Leadership Concept
In the Lokapala Codex it is explained that since the ancient kingdom era, Indonesia has had a leadership concept called Lokapala-Cakravartin.
It contains eight leadership values, which are also known as Asta Brata. It is believed that these values were able to make the archipelago have political, economic and cultural power that influenced Asia Pacific at that time.
These eight values of leadership are 1100 years earlier than the seven values Bushido which Japan uses for “mental revolution” and awakens the nationalism of its youth.
This is the reason for Anantarupa Studios to elevate these noble values into the Eight Knight Values in each Ksatriya Lokapala character.
