Bringing Xepher and xNova, BOOM Esports Announces Dota 2 Roster for DPC 2023!
The International (TI) 11 event in Singapore ended with Tundra Esports as the champion, as well as a starting point for Dota 2 teams to face the upcoming season.
Until now, several teams have started to reshuffle the composition of their players, including last season’s DPC SEA champion, BOOM Esports.
Even though they made quite a good performance last season to get into the TI 11 playoffs in their first TI debut, it didn’t make BOOM confident enough to keep all of their players.
Surprisingly, BOOM Esports announced that Xepher, xNova and Natsumi have officially joined the BOOM Esports Dota 2 roster for DPC 2023!

From this announcement, BOOM officially revealed their five players for the upcoming 2023, namely John “Natsumi“Vargas, Erin”Yopaj“Ferrer, Saieful”FBZ“Inspiration, Kenny”Xepher“Deo, and Yep”xNovaJian Wei.
Xepher and xNova are perhaps the two players who have caught the most attention in the latest roster announcement “The Hungry Beast” this time. The reason is, Xepher is Indonesia’s best support player which BOOM fans really expect.
Meanwhile xNova is a very experienced player with PSG.LGD and RNG. However, both players are known to be very good support players. It is possible that one of them will adapt and change roles later.
Besides that, BOOM also introduced Natsumi who was transferred from the Polaris team. Even though he is the only player who has not tried TI, his performance with Polaris cannot be doubted, because Natsumi is currently one of the best carries in SEA.
BOOM Esports has also decided to keep its two players, Yopaj and Fbz, under the care of the same person, namely Mushi.
