PB ESI Holds Para Esports Exhibition at Indonesia Esports Summit 2022, this is done to encourage inclusivity and the spirit of Unity in Diversity

In tune with the theme Unity in Diversityand to convey a message about esports inclusivity, the Indonesian Esports Council (PB ESI) held a Para Esports Exhibition at the Indonesia Esports Summit 2022.

The Para Esports exhibition was held on the Fire Stage, one of the big stages which is also a place for world teams to compete during their participation in the 14th IESF World Esports Championship in Meruka, Bali.

The Para Esports Exhibition was attended by 58 students from Special Schools in Bali. They attended the Indonesia Esports Summit arena with teacher assistance. In the exhibition match that competed for PUBG Mobile Solo game numbers, Putu Surya Wardana, a Badung 1 State SLB student won first place and was entitled to a prize of IDR 6,000,000.

PB ESI Long Term Program

Regarding the implementation of the Para Esports Exhibition which took place at the 2022 Indonesia Esports Summit, PB ESI Secretary General Frengky Ong said that this activity was part of PB ESI’s commitment to increasing the inclusiveness of esports among the wider community. He explained that esports is a sport that can be followed by a wide range of people, including people with disabilities.

“PB ESI has short, medium and long term programs. Para Esports has also become part of an ongoing development program that aims to develop competency and improve the achievements of Indonesian Para Esports athletes, both at the national and international levels, one of which is through organizing Para Esports competitions,” said Frengky Ong.

Hopefully in the future this good program from the government will be implemented again so friends with disabilities can also feel the euphoria of this world Esports tournament.
