Indonesia Wins Second Gold In The 14th IESF From E-Football Number!
Today is really the day of the Indonesian National Team. After winning gold in DOTA 2, through her representative Elga Cahya Putra, Indonesia won its second gold in the 14th IESF esports world championship from eFootball after defeating a formidable opponent in the upper bracket final, Argentina in the grand final.

The course of the match in the Grand Final
In the grand final match, Elga used the German giant club Bayern Munich. In the first half, Elga’s game was very aggressive and had a neat defensive pattern. Until the 55th minute in the first match, Indonesia outperformed Argentina with a score of 2-0.
In the 65th minute of the second half, Argentina managed to score and catch up. Indonesia while ahead of Argentina with a score of 2-1. In the 77th minute, Indonesia managed to increase the position to 3-1. This score does not increase until the first match ends.
In the second match, Indonesia returned to playing an attacking game and a neat defense pattern. Evidently, Argentina could not find a gap to score until the second match was over. In this match, Argentina had to run aground at the hands of Indonesia with a score of 0-3.
In the third match, Elga appeared very consistent with his playing pattern since the game started. Every time Argentina tried to build an attack, Indonesia quickly intercepted the attack. This decisive round match was won by Indonesia with a score of 3-1 and delivered the world title for Indonesia.
Asked by the media crew about this victory, Elga revealed, “This victory is the result of a long journey that I went through. I am very happy to be able to make Indonesia proud. This victory will always be a beautiful memory for the rest of my life. Thank you to the people who have supported and prayed for me so that I can appear in the grand final and win the world title in eFootball.”
The Secretary General of the Indonesian Esports Committee (PB ESI), Frengky Ong, who provided direct support amidst the flurry of audience support for Elga, said he was proud of the unyielding struggle shown by the entire Indonesian National Team who appeared at the 14th IESF esports world championship which held as part of the Indonesia Esports Summit 2022.
“The Indonesian National Team from all numbers, all have shown their seriousness and best performance. That is the most important thing and we should give the greatest appreciation,” said Frengky. “Today, the two gold medals each from DOTA 2 and eFootball are the fruit of hard work, serious preparation, and sincerity in showing the best fight. Hopefully the extraordinary achievements made by the DOTA 2 and eFootball Team will be an encouragement for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Team, who tomorrow in the final match will fight for the world title against the Philippines.
