Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League Will Begin! There is an Indonesian Team!
A new era for Pokemon Unite is about to begin! In their newest tournament, Pokemon United Asia Champions League, 15 of Asia’s best teams will be brought together.
These 15 teams will compete for a total prize pool of $86,000 or around IDR 1.3 billion.
Skyesports recently announced the Pokémon UNITE Champions League via their Twitter post.
The tournament will start on January 6, 2023 with the Regular Season, a total of 3 regions will host their Leagues. Its 3 regions are East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian League. The final will be played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Tournament follows the Regular Season and the Finals. All matches will be Best of 3 games except Finals. Each game requires a draft mode.
The Regular Season will be conducted between 3 leagues and will follow two stages.
- First Stage – This will include a round-robin format between 3 different leagues with five teams each.
- Second Stage – The top 2 teams will then be selected from each of the three leagues.
After the Regular Season ends, the Finals will be played in March. It will consist of Group Stage action and tournament stages.
- Group Stage – It will follow the same round-robin format and teams will be divided into two groups. Those who will finish in the top 2 positions will then qualify for the tournament stage.
- Tournament Stage – The top 4 teams will then head to the Final Battle. Semifinals and Finals will be Best of 5 games.

How to Watch
The new league will start on January 6, 2023. The Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League finals will be held on March 18-19, 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
East Asian league matches will be held at 16:00 WIB every Friday, Southeast Asian league matches at 16:00 WIB every Saturday, and Indian league matches at 18:30 WIB every Sunday.
