Consistent, S2G Esports Becomes PMGC 2022 Champion!
PMGC 2022 ended last night with S2G Esports from Turkey who managed to win the world tournament.
This also broke the dominance of Nova Esports, which had won the previous 2 seasons.

After the match, SPIN Esports had the opportunity to interview the S2G Esports team and asked how they felt they could overthrow the dominance of the Chinese team.
“To be honest, it’s not just Nova, we think all teams are the same, we actually beat ourselves, and became a better version of us for the next match, we don’t feel anything related (to destroy nova’s dominance),” said S2G Esports.
It turns out that there are no special feelings towards Nova because they destroyed all the existing teams so they could become champions.
They are arguably happier because they were able to go against themselves and surpass their previous limit (4th place) and become champions for the season.
Indeed, we can see that even though S2G Esports only got 1 WWCD, they were very consistent and collected 190 total points and made them far ahead of their closest competitor, DRS.
Their brilliance certainly cannot be separated from the many elimination points they get every game so that they get a total of 93 elims compared to the team that has the second most elims, namely 77 elims.
They were able to get all of that because of their consistency and every opponent they met they managed to defeat, not only Nova Esports, the defending champion.
Congratulations to S2G Esports, the PUBG Mobile team from Turkey for winning PMGC 2022. We are certainly looking forward to the next PUBG Mobile World Championship which will be present in Turkey in 2023.
