Two years have passed since the first women’s scene started for MLBB in Indonesia. WSL as the largest in Asia, even the world has a very impressive achievement and reputation. The most recent was nominated as Favorite Non-Publisher Esports Tournament.
The New Face of WSL
1011 Event launched WSL 2.0 with a new logo as a symbol and iconic identity with the aim of being more professional and more associated with the women’s esports scene, especially Mobile Legends Bang-Bang. In addition, this season’s WSL has a “Play-in” Phase before the Regular Season begins to make this competition more competitive and challenging for all participants.
WSL Season 6 begins with the Play-in Phase and after that, invited teams and qualifying teams will compete in the Regular Season Phase on January 17 – January 30, 2023. With a total of 8 teams, all these teams must bring out the best in their respective Games. each House for 6 spots in the WSL Playoffs which will be held on 3 – 5 February 2023 at the “LigaGame Esports Arena” located in West Jakarta.
All Matches will be streamed live on the Official YouTube Channel and WSL TikTok.
This season the WSL has a #NewEra spirit and motto. We hope that with this, we can create a new era for Women’s Esports where Female Players are valued more in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and all other countries from around the world. As a pioneer of Female Esports in Mobile Legends Bang-Bang, WSL, which has the biggest fans in the world, has attracted the attention of MLBB Esports fans. Therefore, last season’s Playoffs received more than a thousand visitors over three days at the first offline event in North Jakarta in August 2022.
The next WSL season in 2023 will attract more visitors and attention from all Indonesian Mobile Gamers. The Playoff venue this time will have three times the capacity of the previous season.
