RRQ Tehbotol On The Team’s Biggest Problems & For The Underestimators RRQ Valorant!
The RRQ Valorant team is the only team that will represent Indonesia in the VCT Pacific League 2023. As we know, there will be 10 selected teams that will play in the Valorant Pacific League.
Even though RRQ is a very successful team in mobile esports such as Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile, no one doesn’t favor this team with the title of king of kings.
The captain of the RRQ Valorant team, David “tehbotol” Monangin gave his opinion on what is the biggest problem for RRQ right now and also why so many people underestimate them. And also what is the key to their success for their first major tournament, VCT Lock//IN Brasil.
RRQ’s Biggest Problem Communication
Even though RRQ is a team from Indonesia, not all RRQ players are Indonesian players. This team consists of 3 Indonesian players and 3 Filipino players. Looking at several RRQ matches, their lineup consists of 3 Indo players and 2 PH players.
When asked by Yinsu Collins in his YouTube channel interview, tehbotol said communication was RRQ’s biggest problem.
“We are still trying to improve our communication because sometimes in scrim we have a lot of misscoms. Like when we want to provide info, we start having trouble providing info. We are late in providing info, even 1 second can impact our game. That’s why we are still fighting. It is difficult for us because English is not our mother tongue.” said tehbotol.

Tehbotol About Everyone Underestimating RRQ
There are no fans or analysts who favor RRQ at all in their content. Because this team is still very new and there are also many players who have never played in international tournaments.
Tehbotol also gave his response about people who underestimated them, “We don’t mind because if people underestimate us, we don’t have any pressure on us. It’s fine if many people look down on us. But we’ll show that later in the tournament. [Alasan RRQ diremehkan] Because some of the players in my team, they are new players. That’s why people underestimate us.”
What are the current advantages of RRQ
Even though RRQ’s journey in the Valorant Pacific League is still very long, they seem to have gotten used to it and have found their own gameplay.
And one that has an important role in RRQ’s gameplay is their coach Ewok. Tehbotol said that Ewok is a very strict and very disciplined coach and this has been implemented in the current RRQ team.
“I can say my team is very disciplined. Because of our coach [Ewok] very disciplined. We struggled a lot at the start when we started scrimming because of him [Ewok] very disciplined. For example, we have a 4 vs 2 point advantage, we are not allowed 1 on 1 duels. We can give the enemy individual fights.”
RRQ also has quite a big burden because it represents one of the biggest esports organizations in the world. They are also the only representatives of Indonesia in the Valorant league franchise.
