Lumos & Accio Spells at Hogwarts Legacy
Accio is one of the most commonly used spells throughout the Wizarding World franchise, and this fact holds true in Hogwarts Legacy. Throughout the game, players can use it not only to draw enemies closer for quick attacks but also to capture Field Guide pages flying across the grounds of Hogwarts.
Lumos helps the player to illuminate the player’s environment in the form of a light source at the end of their wand.
This is one of the most basic but useful charms, allowing for easy navigation in various locations that are hard to see in the game.
Lumos
Shortly after players take control of the protagonist, they will be transported to the mysterious Vault 12 in Gringotts.
Shortly after studying Revelio in The Path to Hogwarts, you must solve a puzzle involving a statue. Here, you will be taught Lumos.
It’s a can’t-miss spell, unlocked as part of the Main Mission.

Accio
Players will unlock Accio within the first few hours of arriving at Hogwarts and being sorted into a house.
After unlocking Levioso in Professor Hecat’s Defense Against the Dark Arts class, you will be assigned to attend an enchantment class with Professor Ronen, where you will learn Accio’s spells.
Things would start with Professor Abraham Ronen entering the class and asking students questions about what was previously taught, which they would fail to answer.
After that there is a cutscene that you have to go through first. After the cutscene ends, follow the on-screen instructions to learn about Accio. After Professor Ronen teaches you how to do the Accio, he’ll take the class outside to demonstrate using a game that features a ball on a platform.

Once unlocked, you can use Accio freely in combat and exploration.
Accio’s base lets you pull your enemies towards you during battle. However, Mastery of Accio will let you pull other enemies around the target, making it a sort of AoE (Area of Effect) attack.
Accio is a pretty useful spell in Hogwarts Legacy, and mastering it increases its usefulness in the game.
