3 Valorant Agents to Release in 2023! Will There Be Additional New Roles?
2023 will be an important year for Valorant not only from the esports side but also from the gaming side.
Riot’s character producer for VALORANT, John Goscicki, said that players can expect to see 3 new agents coming to the game in 2023.
There will be new initiators and new sentinels introduced later this year. But the most mysterious thing is, the third agent that they still don’t want to reveal.

There are several factors why Riot may not be able to say the role for this third agent. One might be because this character is still in early development and Riot himself doesn’t know what role he will be suitable for.

Secondly, like many fans have speculated, maybe this agent is a new agent in a new role in Valorant. Currently Valorant has 4 roles namely, Duelist, Controller, Sentinel and Initator. So it is possible that there will be a fifth role.
Also from the video, Goscicki has also given a hint for the newest agent that will be coming soon. The next agent to be added to the game will feature new ways to check corners and enter locations, Goscicki said.
Valorant’s newest agent is Harbor, who is a less popular agent at ranked level. But in the pro scene, it has been seen that a few teams have played it.
