Oni 2.0 Valorant Skin Bundle Coming Soon! There’s a Katana Sword Melee?!?
The first Oni bundle was released in July 2021 by Valorant. Since then, this skin has become a huge favorite of players due to its very unique theme of feudal Japan and mythology.
Riot’s Twitter account shared a sneak peek of the next collection of skins in a post on Sunday, February 26. The tweet hinted at the skin’s revival, with the caption “again”.
This only fueled speculation from Valorant fans who suggested an Oni 2.0 skin bundle was on the way.
In the tweet, four blades can be seen buried in the ground under a cherry blossom tree with the sun shining behind them.

The tweet teased a number of things. The blade for Oni’s second iteration will be a kind of katana, as opposed to the claw blades in Oni 1.0. It’s hoped that the Vandals will get the Oni treatment next, and possibly the Classic pistol as well.
Another skin that was released around Valorant’s early infancy has already received its 2.0 bundle. Especially collections like Reaver, Prime and Ion. But many Oni fans have waited years, and Riot is finally listening.
The Oni 1.0 skin collection includes melee weapons Bucky, Guardian, Phantom, Shorty, and Melee Claw in the bundle. And chances are 2.0 will give us a Vandal and maybe a Specter as well.
The bundle should retail at around 7100VP or 8700VP. However, this has not been confirmed by the developers.
Unfortunately, there is currently no release date for the bundle, we’ll just have to wait for the developer or leaker to provide more details.
At this point, VALORANT players just need to set up their wallets.
