All About LoL Wild Rift Patch 4.1: High Five!

Invite Friends and Have Fun in Wild Rift Patch 4.1: High Five

League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 4.1 High Five introduces two new champions, changes to tanks, and new skins and events.

CHAMPIONS

Urgot - Classic - Wild Rift Splash

  • Urgot, the Dreadnought, is a monstrous mix of man and machine that destroys weak players in the top lane, with a mix of outdated Zaun technology and classic brutal attacks.
  • Twitch, the Plague Rat, is a marksman who applies poison to every attack and has the ability to camouflage. Get ready to play really sneaky. With Twitch by your side, you’ll eliminate your enemies before they can say “Cheese!”

GAMEPLAY (ITEMS)

The last patch contains item rework to improve the tank playing experience. To make that effort a success, we’re introducing a new option that will change players’ approach to this role and the decisions they have to make. Apart from that, players can also see some changes to existing items.

  • Amaranth Twinguard grants an Endurance stack when players battle enemy champions. At the maximum stack, players will get size, tenacity, armor, and magic resistance. This bonus will be there until you leave the battle. Similar to Rabadon’s Deathcap for tanks, the Amaranth Twinguard is a late game finishing touch that provides strength.
  • Mantle of the Twelfth Hour offers lifesaver when the player takes a lot of damage. When a player’s health drops below a certain level, the player will heal a portion of their bonus health, as well as gain slow resistance and move speed. This is a great choice for champions who are very hard to kill to protect their team, like Sion or Singed. With this item, they can create space for their carry a little more effectively.
  • Searing Crown is a new burning damage item that allows the player’s attacks or abilities to burn the target for a few seconds, dealing damage based on the enemy’s maximum health. Searing Crown can add to your stack with the Sunfire Cap, allowing the blaze to double.
  • Abyssal Mask adjusted to be used by more than one champion (only Amumu currently). Mainly, through changes to his passive. Now, when players take magic damage, they will save some of this damage. The stored charge will explode, dealing magic damage in a small area, when the player immobilizes the enemy.
  • Force of Nature also get a new passive. As of this patch, taking damage abilities will grant Steadfast stacks. At the maximum stack, players will gain move speed and reduce all magic damage they will receive. The stack duration is updated when players damage champions so that players can stay in battle longer.
  • Final, Thornmail, Sunfire Cape, and Bramble Vest will get a slight stat adjustment. The exact figure can be seen in the Patch Notes.

GAME QUALITY CHANGES

In Patch 4.1, we changed how the account level up system works. Reaching level 40 in Wild Rift is intended to be an important milestone, and with so many players reaching it over the past year, we wanted to provide additional ways for you to experience your investment in Wild Rift.

Now, once players reach level 40, they will unlock the “prestige” level system, where additional levels earn players “stars” which are showcased in their profile and other viewable areas. As a player continues to level up, all the stars that this player has will show off their progress. We will add more rewards to this system in the future.

RANKED

Glourious Twisted fate-Wild Rift Splash- Final
Via: Riot Games

Ranked Season 9 has arrived! This season, we’ll be exploring a wondrous new sea with Twisted Fate’s Glorious Fleet. With so many warships and wild ideas at his disposal, nothing can stop the captain from achieving glory. Raise the anchor! Sail to a ranked game to retrieve it from the Season Rewards tab. Give it a new color with Weapon Augmentation Upgrades in the Ranked Store.

We’re also bringing changes for the highest tier of Ranked. Starting this season, promotion to Grandmaster will require 40 marks. This means that the number of marks needed to reach that level will remain the same throughout the season, instead of changing based on the percentage of top players on the server.

Additionally, promotion to Challenger will require at least 60 marks, up from 40 in the previous season. To get to this level, players need to be one of the top players on their server as usual.

WILD PASS

For Wild Pass Season 9, we’re bringing in a new hero to save the world … or destroy it. Superhero Vi dashes off at the end of Wild Pass, complete with cool fire gloves and secret identity. For a new, more powerful look, grab his Ascended skin from Emporium Wild Pass.
