‘Major Series 8’ Grand Final Begins Soon, CODM Presents Free Skins!
Grand Final Call of Duty®: Mobile (CODM) ‘Major Series 8’ Powered by AXIS will be coming soon on Saturday (11/03/2023). After going through a long series and defeating hundreds of teams in the qualifying rounds, now GBS X ONE, ABC Esports, and Kagendra are one step away from becoming true champions on the CODM esports stage and getting the biggest share of the total prize pool of IDR 250 million.
CODM Major Series 8 Powered by AXIS is a tournament that has been taking place since December 29, 2022. Hundreds of teams have participated in a long series of qualifications, starting from the Solo Qualifier, Team Qualifier, Team Elimination, to the Playoffs round. Of the hundreds of teams that took part in this series of tournaments, GBS X ONE was the only team to qualify for the Grand Final from the Solo Qualifier route.
GBS X ONE secured a seat in the Grand Finals after defeating team Forth in the Loser Bracket Finals in the Playoffs. GBS X ONE is now ready to face two invitational teams, namely ABC Esports and Kagendra in the final match of CODM Major Series 8. GBS X ONE will face ABC Esports in the first match of the Grand Final, and if they win they will again compete against Kagendra to fight for the title.
Who Can Stop Kagendra?
The CODM Major Series 8 Grand Final Powered by AXIS will be a proving ground for the finalists. Never having been defeated even in Major Series 8, Kagendra is the favorite team to bring home the title. However, of course GBS X ONE and ABC Esports won’t let Kagendra win easily either. For the finalists, they feel they have the same opportunity to win this competition.
Kagendra’s performance is indeed quite superior compared to other teams. Kagendra has defeated ABC Esports three times this season, twice in the Playoffs and once in the Semifinals. But, of course, that won’t extinguish ABC Esports’ enthusiasm for the Grand Final. They will fight as best they can to win against GBS X ONE and get revenge on Kagendra in the final round later.
Apart from the championship title, all teams are also targeting a total prize pool from CODM Major Series 8 which reaches IDR 250 million. The winner will take home the biggest share of the prize pool, which is IDR 100 million. Meanwhile, the details of the CODM Major Series 8 prizes are as follows:

- 2nd position: IDR 50,000,000
- 3rd position: IDR 40,000,000
- 4th position: IDR 30,000,000
- 5th position: IDR 20,000,000
- 6th position: IDR 10,000,000
