PS5 Breaks the Record for Best Selling Console in Japan! Many gamers like this one game console, yes, the Nintendo Switch, which is the most successful console of the year.

Even though Sony’s PlayStation 2 and Game Boy are in the all-time sales ranking too.

Nintendo Switch is a console that is really liked because players can take it anywhere and easily play it with friends, because the console provides two sticks so you can play with friends.

But for now the Nintendo Switch is experiencing a setback because the PlayStation 5 has become the best-selling console in Japan for monthly figures.

PlayStation 5 became the best-selling console and broke Nintendo’s phenomenal record for the past five years.

February 2023 will be the first month in which the PlayStation 5 replaces the Nintendo Switch from the top-selling console lineup. Since February 2018, it was the first month that the Nintendo Switch became number one in Japan as the best-selling console (according to the Game Data Library).

As one can see, this is a drastic increase from February last year (2022) and a huge boost for PlayStation 5 sales and it will be Sony’s push to be even better.

PlayStation 5 sales have gotten much better than before, due to the previous pandemic and making it difficult for some people to buy it. But for now, Sony already has a 457% increase in PlayStation sales in Japan.

Not only Japan but all of Europe and England are the best-selling PlayStation 5 so far.

At the end of January, Sony gave away a large number of characters from the game to provide advertisements to consumers. The characters include Kratos from God of War, SpiderMan, Aloy from Horizon.
