Bleak Faith Explanation: Forsaken On Accusations Of Stealing Elden Ring Assets.

Bleak Faith: Forsaken was just released on March 11, 2023 yesterday. The game was developed by Studio Archangel.

Bleak Faith: Forsaken is an interesting game with a dark gothic environment with a heavy atmosphere.

The game has several similarities with FormSoftware’s games, namely Nioh, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Steelrising. However, in the case of Bleak Faith, the resemblance is quite close to convenience in game animation.

Since the release of the game Bleak Faith: Forsaken, the players have given the similarity of the Bleak Faith animation in FromSoftware games such as Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3.

Like claymore attacks Bleak Faith is very similar to Elden Rings uchigatana and Straight sworld. Then the character looks similar to Malenia’s movement, then for the Abyss Watcher animation from Dark Souls 3 it is also very similar to Bleak Faith.

Indeed, many game makers creatively seek inspiration from several other games such as taking gameplay styles, movements or character designs. However, it is very unfortunate that this Bleak Faith animation looks very similar to the FromSoftware game, or you could say 1:1.

Having these similarities sparked an accusation case and Archangel Studios as the game developer Bleak Faith then explained that they have purchased the animation asset from the Epic marketplace and linked it to their Unreal Engine asset sale profile under the name PersianNinja. At least that is one of the asset sales like this that Bloodborne has taken.

Since the existence of the Bleak Faith animation due to this similarity, the Bleak Faith developers themselves have stated that they have provided increased community awareness to Epic Customer Service and outlined the allegations of the animation.
