PMSL 2023 Format & Schedule! Teams Will Play Offline Across The Country!

Finally, more information about PUBG Mobile Super League SEA or PMSL SEA 2023 Spring has been released.

15 partnership teams as well as 5 champion teams from each PMPL in Southeast Asia will play in the newest tournament at PUBG Mobile Esports. These 20 teams will also compete for a total prize pool of USD$250,000.

Previously there was still no information about how this new tournament would be held, and PUBG Mobile has confirmed that the PMSL 2023 Spring tournament will be held offline.

PMSL Spring 2023 Format & Schedule

As we know, PMSL is a new league that has replaced PMPL SEA. And because this is a league, the teams will play a few weeks before getting the champion.

The announced format of PUBG Mobile is, PMSL 2023 will take place from date 22 March 2023 to 16 April 2023.

The league will be divided into 2 stages, the first stage is League Play and the second stage is Finals.

For League Play, 20 teams will play during 3 weeks where each week consists of 5 game days.

The teams will be divided into 5 groups consisting of 4 teams, and there will be 6 matches per day where 1 group will play 5 times a day. For each group is as follows:

  • Week 1 – Teams are randomly assigned.
  • Week 2 – Teams are grouped by their Week 1 placements.
  • Week 3 – Teams are grouped by their Week 2 placements.

Teams are also awarded Bonus Points based on their placement after each week (Weekly Bonus Points)

50% of the total bonus points (Week 1 + Week 2 + Week 3 BP) accumulated by a team will determine their Final Starting Points.

The top 16 teams by Bonus Points ranking advance to the Finals.

For the final itself there will be 6 matches per day for 3 days to get the best team in Southeast Asia.

Play Offline

Not only has the format and schedule been announced, but also these teams will play offline in the same place.

It has also been decided that the offline location will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. So these 20 teams will go to Kuala Lumpur to compete.

Because there are 5 matchdays per week, it looks like the teams will stay in Malaysia for 1 full month.
