Garudaku Academy as the official esports academy of the Indonesian Esports Council (PBESI), will provide training and nursery for the nation’s buds to be able to continue to participate in making achievements at the world level.

The Head of the Garudaku Academy Program, Robertus Aditya S.Sos, MH, M.Ikom, C.Ht embraces all esports ecosystems, especially schools as supporters of esports in the field of education.

Robertus Aditya explained that so far he has joined 33 schools throughout Indonesia, in the esport extracurricular with Garudaku Academy.



“The 33 schools that have joined the Garudaku Academy are spread across the DKI Jakarta area with 11 schools, West Java with 3 schools, Banten with 6 schools, Central Kalimantan with 1 school, Central Java with 3 schools, East Java with 8 schools and South Sulawesi with 1 school. school,” he said.

In order to support the sustainability of the esports ecosystem in the country, Garudaku Academy will again be holding the 2023 Extracurricular Academy League. In 2022, the Academy Eskul League was successfully held and placed Santo Kritoforus 2 High School as the winner and won a Golden Ticket to the semi-finals of the 2022 Student Esports League.

David Ananda as Project Manager for the 2023 Academy Extracurricular League, explained that the match scheme used was different from the previous year.

“This time the match system uses a point system, best of 2 will be taken
of the 40 teams from schools registered at the Garudaku Academy and
fighting over a total prize of 12 Million Rupiah and a Golden Ticket to the Esports League Regional Finals

The Extracurricular Academy League will take place from March 21 to May 5 2023 and carry the theme “Ngabuburit”, because several matches will take place during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
