RRQ Xffero & Ewok Describe The Team’s Biggest Problem Right Now In VCT Pacific Valorant After Losing To Gen.G

Losing Against Gen.G, RRQ Xffero & Ewok Describe The Team’s Biggest Problem Right Now At VCT Pacific Valorant.

RRQ finally made their debut in the 2023 VCT Pacific League against the South Korean team Gen.G. RRQ as we know is the only team that represents Indonesia in the Valorant Asia partnership league.

Against Gen.G, RRQ actually started the game well, on map 1 Fracture had a 4-0 lead and on map 2 Lotus had won the gun round 2-0.

After that, however, they had to admit Gen.G’s superiority and lost 4-8 in the first round, before being defeated with a landslide score, 9-13 and 6-13 in their respective maps.

RRQ’s captain, Xffero, who previously had the name Tehbotol and also their coach Ewok, gave the biggest reason why they were slaughtered by Gen.G in their debut match.

RRQ Xffero On RRQ’s Biggest Problem Right Now

One of the biggest problems of RRQ that Xffero highlighted is the messy communication.

Indeed, we can see that in several plays against Gen.G there were many moments where they were completely out of sync. This results in losing the round.

To SPIN Esports, Xffero briefly gave his response on what happened and what they need to fix.

“I don’t understand the problem, this only happens in tournaments, in scrim we do good things, like tidy comms, no shouting. The PH players were very excited, not only them but all of us. There is something different in this tournament, I don’t know why. Comms is really a mess” Xffero said.

It seems like many players are still not used to playing on stage. This makes communication between RRQ players not optimal and must be improved in the future.

Coach RRQ Ewok What Needs to be Improved Again

Just as Xffero said, Coach Ewok also agreed, indeed one of the biggest problems that must be fixed at RRQ right now is their communication.

On his Twitter, Ewok gave a message to fans about RRQ’s current problems and what they will do to improve.

“A message to our fans,

We have not performed according to the standards or expectations set by ourselves or by you. We work hard every week to build cohesion and chemistry in our games while in high pressure environments and scenarios.

The switch to English communication took a little longer than expected to fully adjust to being under high pressure. Thus, we are 100% committed to correcting our mistakes and becoming the team you want to watch and enjoy. See you next week”

Xffero also gave RRQ’s current expectations, namely that they want to get better and also be able to enter the playoffs in the 2023 VCT Pacific League.

“The expectation is at least top 6, getting into the playoffs. We are like underdogs, for me it is still difficult to win. At least not top 6.” Xffero said.

For Kingdom fans, don’t be disappointed too quickly. The VCT Pacific League is still long and there are still 7 weeks left. That is plenty of time for RRQ to be able to improve on its flaws.
