The Reason Bigetron Alpha Comes for Interview After Losing to AE
There was an interesting incident that occurred after the Bigetron Alpha vs Alter Ego match. After Alter Ego underwent a media interview after winning. The BTR Alpha team also attended media interviews, something that was actually quite unusual, because usually only the winning team interviews.
However, it turns out that Bigetron Alpha was not without reason when they decided to visit the media crew after their dramatic defeat.
They had won twice, namely 1-0 and 2-1 before finally losing 2-3. Of course, the feeling of sadness is clearly visible from the BTR side, which has been performing very well lately.
Through the media interview, their manager Odie and their coach Aldo revealed their reasons for going to the media interview after their defeat to AE in the playoffs.
“Actually, I joined BTR from season 9 and immediately moved to MPL, and at that time, Edwin only had one task, namely to change the culture, and for me, changing that culture, yes, for me, the easiest thing was to become more professional.
How to be professional, it means we shouldn’t be exposed to emotions no matter what happens, whether we win, we lose. For me, it’s part of my job to be able to meet fans, to be able to meet with the media, to be able to be interviewed at any time, to be able to smile all the time, even after losing or winning or being scolded and so on.
So it’s not just us (managers and coaches) actually media interviews here, I also force players to stay out to meet our fans no matter what happens (win or lose) because for me it’s first as a form of appreciation, second as a form so that they Just be more aware of yourself that work is not just playing and winning and losing, there are many other things you can do and of course to be able to grow more mature as well for them as professional players.” Odie said.
It turned out that the main reason was as a form of professionalism from the team. Wherever you want to be in any situation, whether you want to win or lose, you still have to meet the fans as a form of appreciation. As professional players, of course the players are expected to be mature in accepting any situation and remain tolerant even though they have just received defeat.
“I always focus on the ball, if the game always loses the coach will surely be angry, where are you? Yes, in the media interview, my players are lacking, my players are still losing to the enemy team, like we are still interested, right? It should be in the media interview, right? It’s like being a professional, you have to be able to win or lose, you still have to be able to show it to the media and make appreciation too. They only won the interview, but the content won, but they processed the wrong content,” Aldo added.
The new coach of BTR Alpha Aldo said something more or less similar, according to him coming to the interview is a form of professionalism and appreciation for the media.
According to him, there is also a content problem, there is something to be learned from the defeats, not only the victories achieved.
Turns out that’s it guys, the reason behind the arrival of the Bigetron Alpha team for an interview after receiving defeat from Alter Ego, was very sporty. Good luck for the next season, BTR.
