The Reason Why AE Lost in Regular Season Against BTR According to Pai!
Alter Ego managed to win and bring home BTR Alpha in the first day of the MPL ID S11 playoffs.
Having a bad season at the start didn’t make Celiboy, et al just give up. They were underdogs reflecting on the two previous Derby STM meetings, but Alter Ego proved they deserved to be in the playoffs.

So, regarding their defeat in the regular round twice against BTR, AE Pai revealed the reason.
“Regular season we always lose huh? Well, it’s only the regular season, we’re mainly focused on the playoffs, not the regular season,” said Pai via YouTube MPL Indonesia.
It turns out that the reason Alter Ego doesn’t win or lose continuously in the regular season is because the AE team’s main focus is the playoffs.
We can see the difference in Alter Ego’s play in the playoffs, especially in games 2, 4 and 5. Where they excelled and won on a one-sided basis.
Even though it’s not clear, in plain view it is very strong and superior in the early game.
After being left behind in the first game, Alter Ego replied in the second game, and so on, BTR won the third game and was equalized again by Alter Ego. And finally in the last game with Celiboy’s jungler Akai managed to make Alter Ego qualify for the next round and meet RRQ.
