Facts About Valorant Premier A New Pathway For Players To The Pro Scene To Be Released In Open Beta Soon!

The global open beta phase for Premier, the competitive in-game tournament mode in VALORANT that will serve as the official jumping-off point to pro in the future, is coming soon with a full launch planned shortly thereafter.

It is possible that this Premier will be a new system for amateur players to be able to qualify for VCT Challengers in each country and region.

Riot confirmed in today’s announcement that the global open beta phase will officially launch on April 25, 2023, coinciding with the start of Episode Six, Act Three.

Premier will be fully released in August after VCT Champions 2023 ends, after 2 beta phases in May and July 2023.

The first beta phase will start on date April 26 to May 24, 2023. Registration will be on not on date April 26-29 and the match will take place on date April 30 – May 21, 2023. The playoffs are on May 22, 2023.

Premier will be divided per region and the teams from each region will be divided again according to the MMR team.

Weekly matches will begin in the open beta phase on April 29 and run until May 20. Teams can queue any time during the weekly window and will earn 100 points if won, 25 if you loseand no points if they don’t play.

At the end of the weekly match period, the team with the minimum 375 points earned will qualify for the tournament at the end of the beta. The tournament will use the map’s pick-and-ban system. The winner will get a Premier open beta title and a unique player card.

Requirements To Play In VALORANT Premier

The registration process begins on April 26 and lasts until April 29. And these are some of the requirements for you to be able to play in Premier

  1. Players must have a verified account when joining or creating a team. If you haven’t already done so, you’ll need to verify your VALORANT account via SMS verification.
  2. Players must complete 1 rank placement in an Act of VALORANT on the account they wish to play Premier.
  3. The account in question must be in good standing.

After completing these steps, players can create a team or join an existing team in VALORANT Premier.

Teams can have up to seven players and the division played will be based on the MMR of the team’s top five players.

Once the registration phase is complete and players have selected the region they wish to play in, Premier players will play up to two matches a week.
