More than half of the season has passed in the VCT 2023 Pacific League. The 10 best teams in Asia Pacific are still fighting to win 6 positions to advance to the playoffs. RRQ xffero & fl1pzjder: Hard to Get Scrim Before Match T1

“I think because we didn’t warm up enough because the schedule changed from 5pm instead of 6pm, so we couldn’t find a warm-up scrim before the game, that’s why I think we were a bit aimless today.” xffero said during a scrum interview.

Due to the schedule changes that have occurred starting from week 5, it has made it difficult for RRQ to find a team that can scrim against them.

Apart from that, fl1pzjder also said in the post match interview, that today RRQ also tried too hard to counter the T1 game instead of playing their own gameplay.

“Earlier, map 1 seemed to be trying too hard to make reading the enemy, normally when we play it loosely, it seems like it’s too confused and stiff, so it makes you overthink. Comms was really bad today, maybe because the schedule was changed an hour earlier. We usually have a warm-up scrim, and today there is no warm-up scrim because time is running out.” said this player named Saibani Rahmat.

Coach RRQ Ewok also agreed with the two players where they looked uncomfortable and thought too much about their opponent’s game rather than their own team’s game.

“We did a lot of preparation for T1’s Haven, I think sometimes we try to read too much into what they’re doing and we don’t play our game very often.

Because of this, RRQ’s game became messy and caused more communication and coordination problems.

Of course individually we didn’t play either. and we’re not aiming as well as we could before, we’re struggling a bit with multi-frag and with coordination issues and miscommunication issues, still the same problem.” said coach Ewok.
